Wakenda Weekend: Presented by Peace Medi Moves

Wakanda Weekend is a Music, Mindfulness, & Arts Wellness celebration that honors the authentic expression and experiences of Black and Afrikan Excellence. The founding organizations Peace Medi Moves (PMM) & B Peace Productions (BPP)host this event annually in an effort to unify community entities that serve Black and Afrikan students, families, or causes. The 2024 Wakanda Weekend theme is Healing the Inner Child so participants can expect a courageous listening session facilitated by Bubba Peace and QA with a panel of local & national leaders that show up authentically in their work every day! A drum circle will start the dialogue, then progressively we will witness performances throughout the evening, followed by a Dream Flow experience with Dream Create Inspire Tour that allows participants to emerse themselves in active meditation and communal song creation!
